Our Erection Steps
The erection of structural steelwork consists of the assembly of steel components into a frame on site. The processes involve lifting and placing components into position, then connecting them together. Generally this is achieved through bolting but sometimes Site welding is used

Step 1: Prepare before erection
Check the erection equipment, and materials, including: quantity, safety, quality…
Step 2: Erect column
Ensure the construction site is cleared and prepared to accommodate the lifting and installation of columns.
Step 3: Erect rafter
Ensure the construction site is ready for rafter installation. This includes clearing the area and ensuring a stable foundation.
Step 4: Erect purlin, and brace
Ensure the construction site is ready for purlin installation, with clear access and a stable working platform.
Step 5: Calibrate the first frame
Ensure all tracking devices, cameras, sensors, or markers are properly set up and calibrated themselves before starting the first frame calibration.
Step 6: Erect next frame
Ensure all necessary materials (structural members, connectors, fasteners) and equipment (cranes, lifts, scaffolding) are available and suitable for the installation.
Step 7: Complete installation for the rest frame
Coordinate with other construction activities, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC installations, to integrate these systems with the new frames.
Step 8: Erect roof monitor
Ensure the structural integrity of the roof can support the additional weight of the roof monitor, including any added glass or glazing.
Step 9: Check completion before covering
Use checklists based on project specifications to ensure all tasks and installations are completed according to design and regulatory requirements.
Step 10: Erect covering and finish
Verify that exterior cladding materials (such as brick, stone, siding, or stucco) and roofing materials (such as shingles, tiles, or metal panels) are available and suitable for installation.
